Grand Palais, Paris –

It is with great satisfaction that we invite you to (re)discover the emblematic site of the Grand Palais!

Classified as a historic monument, it will welcome theΒ  𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐬 πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ’ – Olympic Games. For the first time since its opening to the general public in 1900, it has undergone a complete renovation. And we are happy to have contributed to it.

TRIA France supplied 310 multi-louvered smoke vents type 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀 for fire safety on the site and 90 additional units for comfort ventilation. The vents were installed in the Nave, in the lower part of the largest glass roof in Europe with 13,500mΒ² of surface area.

The Grand Palais counts also:

– 72,000 mΒ² of overall surface area;

– 6,000 tonnes of steel needed to build the Nave. More iron than the Eiffel Tower;

– 2 million annual visitors.

We warmly thank UNION TECHNIQUE DU BATIMENT for its trust and expertise in the renovation of ancient heritage and historical monuments.
